BEACH RULES

General Responsibilities

These beach rules are intended to protect everyone’s safety and enjoyment of the beach. As friends and neighbors, we kindly ask that all Association members and guests comply

Homeowners are responsible for making sure their children, guests and tenants know and follow the beach rules

If you rent your property, please include these rules with your rental agreement

Beach Rules

  • All beach boxes and watercraft kept on the beach must be clearly marked
  • Dogs are not allowed on the beach from Memorial Day through Labor Day. At all other times, dogs must be leashed
  • No lifeguard is on duty. Swim and use the swim platform at your own risk. Diving from the swim platform is prohibited
  • Boats, jet skis and other watercraft must stay clear of swimmers and at least 50 yards from the swim platform
  • Store kayaks, paddleboards and other self-propelled watercraft on the provided racks to protect the dunes
  • Do not use snow fencing to support watercraft or other beach items
  • Use only the designated beach entrances at Woodlawn, Willard, Maple and the westernmost walkway to protect the dunes
  • Do not cut back trees or brush or dump leaves, grass clippings or weeds in the area between Seaview Avenue and the beach
  • Day tents for sun or weather shelter must be taken down and removed each day. No tents may remain overnight
  • Fires are allowed only when weather and tidal conditions permit and with prior approval from the Board President
  • Pack out all trash. There are no beach trash bins
  • Remove all watercraft, beach boxes and other personal items from the beach by October 31
